1: Preheat oven to 425°F. 2: Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and add a wire rack. Spray rack with non-stick spray. 3: Use paper towels to pat wings dry and place them in a large bowl. 4: Add all chicken ingredients and mix until fully coated. 5: Arrange wings on rack, skin side up. 6: Bake on the middle oven rack for 22 minutes. 7: Flip wings and bake for an additional 20-25 minutes, depending on desired crispiness. 8: While chicken is cooking, add 1 Tbsp olive oil to a saucepan and sauté onions and peppers for about 5 minutes. Remove and set aside. 9: Add all sauce ingredients (except butter) to the pan and bring to a simmer. 10: Stir occasionally and continue to simmer until sauce thickens (around 35 minutes). 11: Add onions and peppers to the sauce and mix. 12: Once the sauce reaches desired consistency, add butter and mix. 13: In a bowl, toss wings in sauce until fully coated. 14: Serve with rice and enjoy!
