Instructions
1. In a large bowl, combine the beef roast, salt, pepper, minced ginger, minced garlic, thyme, oregano, allspice, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, epis (if using), and chopped scallions. Coat the beef on all sides and let it marinate for at least 1 hour. 2. In a large heavy-bottomed skillet or Dutch oven, sear the beef on each side to lock in the flavor. Pour in the beef broth and cover the skillet. 3. Place the skillet in a preheated oven at 325°F and braise the beef for 3 hours. 4. While the beef is braising, sauté the cabbage, bell peppers, and onions with your choice of spices in a pan over medium heat. Set aside. 5. In a separate pan, heat a tortilla over medium heat. Place a slice of cheese on the tortilla, add the beef, and fold the tortilla in half. Cook until the tortilla is crispy and golden brown on both sides. 6. Open the tacos and add the sautéed vegetables inside. Enjoy your delicious Crispy Shredded Beef Tacos with Spiced Vegetables!
