Garlic Butter Shrimp Spaghetti

A flavorful and easy shrimp spaghetti recipe featuring garlic, shallots, red pepper flakes, and a rich butter-parmesan sauce with lemon and Old Bay seasoning.

What you need

oz old bay seasoning
lemon zest

tsp salt

cup fresh parsley
tbsp olive oil

tbsp unsalted butter

shallot

clove garlic clove

lb shrimp

cup grated parmesan cheese

tbsp lemon juice

tsp red pepper flake
cup pasta water

lb spaghetti
tsp dried italian seasoning
Instructions
In a large pot cook the pasta in salted boiling water according to the package directions. Drain but reserve 1/3 cup pasta water. In a large pan, heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the red pepper flakes, garlic and shallots and cook until fragrant. Season shrimp with Old Bay seasoning and add to the same pan and cook until the shrimp starts to turn pink. Add lemon zest, Italian seasoning and remaining 4 tablespoons of butter. Stir until butter is melted. Add the pasta to the pan with the Parmesan, and parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
