Instructions
1. Slice two thick pieces of bread from a loaf. 2. Spread mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice. 3. Toast the bread slices in a pan, mayonnaise-side down, until golden brown. 4. Slice the tomato. 5. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of one of the toasted bread slices. 6. Layer the sliced tomatoes on the bread and season with a pinch of salt. 7. Add several slices of ham on top of the tomatoes. 8. Place two slices of cheese over the ham. 9. Add lettuce leaves. 10. Spread mayonnaise on the inside of the second slice of bread and place it on top to close the sandwich. 11. Cut the sandwich in half and serve.
