Shrimp Pasta with Broccoli

What you need

tsp salt

pepper

bunch fresh basil

cup heavy cream
cup pasta water

clove garlic clove

cup parmesan cheese

tbsp chipotle chili peppers in adobo
oz pappardelle

lb jumbo shrimp

tsp red pepper flake

tsp cajun seasoning

head broccoli

onion

tbsp unsalted butter

tsp italian seasoning
Instructions
Clean shrimp and season both sides generously with Cajun seasoning. Steam broccoli and set aside. In a pot, boil water and season with salt. Cook pasta until al dente. In a pan over medium high heat, cook shrimp on both sides until it’s about 80% cooked. Remove from pan and set aside. Add butter to the same pan and let it melt. Add onions and garlic and sauté for about 3-4 minutes. Add in heavy cream, Italian seasoning, red pepper flakes, cajun seasoning, and adobo sauce and mix. Add salt and pepper to taste. Once the sauce starts to thicken, add in parmesan cheese and mix. Season with salt and pepper. Add in broccoli, cooked pasta, and shrimp and mix until all noodles are fully coated and shrimp is fully cooked. Top with fresh basil and enjoy!View original recipe
