Instructions
1: Preheat the oven to 325 F. 2: In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, salt, sugar, and vanilla until well combined and set aside. 3: In a saucepan, bring the cream to a simmer on medium heat. 4: Remove the pan and very slowly add the cream to the egg mixture while whisking continuously. 5: Strain the mixture and divide evenly between the ramekins. 6: Zest the lemon over each ramekin. 7: Place ramekins in a large baking pan and add hot water until it reaches about halfway up the sides of the ramekins. 8: Place in the oven and bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a knife can be inserted in the middle and come out clean. The custard should still be a little jiggly in the center. 9: Top with berries of your choice, mint leaves, or whipped cream and enjoy!View original recipe
