What you need

tsp dry mustard

tbsp butter

cup chicken stock

clove garlic

oz bread

tsp black pepper

onion

cup parmesan cheese

celery

tsp paprika

oz broccoli

carrot

cup half & half cream

tsp red pepper

cup all purpose flour

cup mild cheddar
Instructions
1: Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a large pot over medium-high heat. 2: Add the onion, celery, carrots, and red pepper flakes. Sauté until softened. 3: Add the garlic and sauté for another minute. 4: Add the remaining 7 tablespoons of butter. When melted, add flour and whisk for 1-2 minutes or until the flour begins to turn golden. 5: Pour in the chicken stock, broccoli, and seasoning. Bring to a boil. 6: Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until the broccoli is cooked through. 7: Stir in half and half, cheese, and more seasoning if desired. 8: Simmer for 20 minutes. 9: Serve in a bread bowl and enjoy!View original recipe
