What you need

basil

tsp dried oregano

lb italian sausage

oz mozzarella cheese

onion

lasagna noodles

pepper

tbsp olive oil

cup tomato paste

cup parmesan cheese
lb ground beef

cup vodka
Instructions
1: Preheat oven to 375°F. 2: In a large pan over medium high heat, add olive oil, ground beef, and Italian sausage. Break apart the meat. 3: Once the meat is almost fully browned, add the onion and garlic. Cook for an additional 3 minutes until fully cooked. 4: Remove from the pan and set aside. 5: Add 2 more tablespoons of olive oil to the pan. Add onions and garlic, season with salt and pepper. 6: Add red pepper flakes and oregano, cooking until onions are translucent, about 4-5 minutes. 7: Add tomato paste, cooking down for 5 minutes while scraping off bits from the pan. 8: Add vodka and stir for about 30 seconds, then mix in heavy cream. 9: Add a cup of pasta water, mix, then add Parmesan cheese. Simmer and return beef with chopped basil. 10: Create the ricotta mixture by combining all ricotta ingredients in a bowl. 11: In a baking dish, add a thin layer of sauce. For each noodle, add a layer of ricotta mixture, vodka beef sauce, and mozzarella cheese, then roll and place in the baking dish. 12: Top rolls with more sauce and mozzarella cheese, then bake covered with foil for 20 minutes. 13: Remove foil and broil for 3-5 minutes before serving.View original recipe
