
Pulled Beef Sandwich

A delicious pulled beef sandwich made with tender shredded beef, sautéed onions, gooey provolone cheese, and spicy jalapeños, served on toasted sourdough baguette with a BBQ mayo spread.

What you need

cup frying oil

tsp salt

tbsp worcestershire sauce

onion

tsp corn starch

cup beef broth

pepper

tbsp tomato paste

lb chuck roast

fl oz mayonnaise

yellow onion

clove garlic clove

baguette
slice provolone

jalapeno pepper

fl oz cooking oil
oz bbq seasoning
Instructions
1: Slice onion and mix with corn starch. 2: In a pot over medium high heat, fry onion slices in batches until golden brown, about 3 minutes. 3: Remove and add to a plate lined with paper towels. Sprinkle with finishing salt. 4: Preheat oven to 325°F. Cut the chuck roast into cubes and season all sides of the beef with BBQ rub, salt, and pepper. 5: In a Dutch oven over medium high heat, add 1 Tbsp neutral oil and sear beef on all sides. Remove beef and set aside. 6: In the same pot, add tomato paste and cook for about 2 minutes. Add onions, garlic cloves, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, and another Tbsp of BBQ rub. Mix together. 7: Add beef back into the pot, cover, and place in preheated oven for 3 hours and 30 minutes. 8: Remove beef and shred in a sheet pan. 9: Lightly toast bread and spread with BBQ mayo.
